Uranus
Uranus is the seventh one among the Solar System planets. It was discovered in 1781.

Uranus' rotation is unique and completely different when compared to other
seven planets. To put it briefly, the axis is perpendicular to the orbit because of which it moves on its side.

Due to the rare movement, the weather and climatic conditions on the planet are quite interesting. For example, for six months, the Sunlight is blinding and for the rest of a year, this Solar System planet does not even see Sunlight.

Uranus is very far away from the Sun which is why it receives a very small portion of the solar energy. The atmosphere consists mainly of helium, methane, hydrogen and water. Several layers of clouds exist in the planet’s atmosphere but they are not visible. If you were to enter the atmosphere, you would first have to pass through the methane layers and then the clouds of water vapor. The surface of this Solar System planet is covered with ice and rocks.

Like Jupiter and Saturn, Uranus has rings which are very dark in color and not too visible. They are not as bright as the rings around these two planets because their power of reflection is very weak.

This Solar System planet has 27 natural satellites. The orbital period of Uranus is 30,799.095 days or 84.32 years.
